■ Salt mining in the Middle Ages
The present-day grounds of Hasegg castle were documented as early as 1250 salt processing facility of the town of Hall. Built in the mid-15th century and virtually fully preserved until current times, it was in this castle with its striking mint tower that the coinage rights of the town of Hall were exercised until the year 1809.
■ Rooms / Facilities:
After careful renovation work, Hasegg castle now has rooms and chambers with a medieval ambience for events for 30 to 200 persons, where celebrations can be carried out beneath Hall's famous minting tower landmark. The Beheimsaal, Fürstenzimmer, Galerie und Georgskapelle rooms can be reached from the castle courtyard. |
